Digital Freedom Project
Imagine a nation that shares your love of digital freedom and privacy. A new nation that has a unified vision for the future of our online rights and freedoms and is willing to protect those rights unconditionally. A forward-looking nation that has adopted a Digital Bill of Rights to protect individuals’ rights and freedoms in the online world. This nation isn’t a dream. The nation is the Kingdom of North Sudan.
The national vision for the Kingdom of North Sudan is to become a lasting stronghold for free speech, information exchange and eCommerce. As part of our developmental goals to achieve this objective, the Kingdom seeks to construct the largest server farm ever built on the African continent. The North Sudan Digital Freedom Project will create a repository for information that is beyond the reach of censorship or impediments to free trade and commerce.
Just like every aspect of the Kingdom, people are given the opportunity to invest in programs that they believe in. Because this program is self-funded by like-minded individuals around the globe, the Digital Freedom Project will operate beyond the reach of monetary manipulation and/or influence by other nations.
Support for this project relies solely on the belief that individuals, pooling their resources, no matter how modest, can prevail over efforts determined to limit digital freedom and free speech. With your help, we can build a digital fortress in the desert that protects the basic human right of online privacy and free speech.
With your support this oasis of digital freedom has the real opportunity to positively change the landscape of online rights. If you cannot monetarily contribute, do what the internet does best and help spread the word about this amazing project!
